  Hypnosis and Health

Popular images and representations of hypnosis have little in common with the ubiquitous and spontaneously occurring phenomenon of trance encountered in daily life. Anyone who has ever been driving along with their mind preoccupied and missed their expressway exit or driven for miles without realizing it is familiar with a natural hypnotic state called road trance. Clinical hypnosis is a safe and effective procedure which permits the hypnotic client to make use of the guidance and suggestions of the hypnotist to focus their own attention and to tap into the full resources of their own mind in order to improve their health, concentration or lifestyle.

Some of the areas in which hypnosis may be helpful include:
  • Weight loss
  • Smoking cessation
  • Stress management and reduction
  • Overcoming phobias
  • Dealing and coping with chronic health problems
  • Chronic pain management
  • Improving self-esteem and motivation
  • Sports and fitness enhancement
